As i mentioned in my Bio I am currently pregnant 12 weeks. I am so eager to start my fashion project but I have to admit that I have been having a rough go with this pregnancy. I struggle immensely with nausea and vomiting, and I thought I could blog about some remedies and medicines that have helped me live through the struggle. It's tough when you want to start following your dreams and passions but have illnesses and in my case, pregnancies that can hinder your progress, but I am a resilient being and I am going to get THROUGH this pregnancy safe for both baby. and I like I did the first time!

Our first son is so special to us but the ride to get him our arms safely was extremely hard. I don't know about y'all but I had the nausea and vomiting the whole way through the pregnancy!! First off, I recommend crackers by the bed as soon as you get up. Also, very important to know your triggers what foods make you nauseous what don't, The best trick I discovered from one of my colleagues from a hotel I used to work at, showed me cutting an orange, lathering salt on it and sucking on it took away the nausea immediately. Also, i found that chewing on cubes of ice during the day at work helped me get through some tough days at work before maternity leave. Also, whether you're a believer or not, my advice is to pray. This is /was and always will be the most effective remedy. I had a whole group of church ladies praying for my nausea and vomiting to go away, and to be honest it subsided a-lot due to prayers and I am so grateful to God for providing that relief, as well. The medicines they prescribed me that i recommend is well first GRAVOL. Don't take more that 6 in a day; I took 8 one time and felt really dizzy tired and short of breath. But the Gravol is a great warrior against pregnancy nausea. I also take/took at the same time Ondansetron and Diclectin. (Ask your OB) The combination helps... a little. I also enjoy a hot pad on my stomach anytime during the day or night helps too. Also it's important to keep vitamin water with you at all times because the vomiting leads to dehydration so it is good to keep replenishing your electrolytes!! If you are going through this with a husband or partner, kindly ask them to rub your back the soothingness of a massage REALLY HELPED relieve nausea. I honestly don't know why they call it morning sickness, because it lasts all day, and even through the night. I pray anyone reading this that their nausea goes away in jesus name! Keep fighting and finding the right medicines that work for YOU. I ended up in hospital a few weeks ago because i couldn't hold anything down for about three days. I was extremely hypotensive dizzy and dehydraged... I had a complete lack of energy I literally could barely move. It was scary. They gave me IV fluids IV gravol and IV ondansetron and it helped me and I got better in small increments! Does anybody else have any advice on remedies? Please drop a comment if you do!

Also, specifically related to FASHION🥰 it's hard when you're pregnant to find cute things that actually fit. Surprisingly, i found a couple basics at Wal-Mart Maternity section. Also, I highly recommend SHEIN they have tons of maternity cute dresses long flowy ones that made me feel beautiful while I was struggling, also they have amazing maternity underwear and CUTE too made me feel confident about my baby bump. Any other suggestions for maternity fashion?

Extra Info 💗

I also highly recommend no matter what stage in your pregnancy to always carry snacks with you. Crackers nuts and/or a chocolate bar because you get hit with HUNGER any-day anytime and one time I almost fainted if i didn't get some chocolate or sugar intake ASAP. You'll notice that you get a-lot more tired when you're pregnant, so check with your health provider about maintaining your IRON levels, (I had to get IV iron to maintain my balance and reduce tiredness) I also advise cat naps during the day saved my life. AND always carry around gravol with you wherever you go regardless if you feel nauseous or not. If you were like me and experienced it the whole way through, let me assure you THERE IS LIGHT at the end of the tunnel. I promise. Pray through it and surround yourself with uplifting encouraging people.
